Every year on my bi-annual trip to Delray Beach, Florida, I always try my best to reboot, rejuvenate, relax and rethink my dietary choices. I always try to incorporate a 7-day detox juice cleanse. The clarity that arrives after a few days is astonishing to me. I forget how great it feels and almost feel guilty that I don’t do it more than twice a year.
Hope this will encourage you to try it. It feels amazing!
My Tips:
- Organic fresh juice ONLY for 2 meals.
- Dinner is low fat protein, veggies and fruit.
- NO SUGAR, NO SALT…
- 10-12 glasses of lemon water.
- No eating after 7 pm and do not resume any eating except for tea, black coffee and lemon water before 11:00 am.
Seriously feels great. After first day it’s a breeze. The difference in a week is amazing
I did my shopping at my favorite place, the Delray Green Market!
My Shopping List:
- Beets – Improved blood flow, lowers blood pressure, detoxes liver, enhances skin
- Celery – Includes vitamin C, vitamin K and potassium that helps prevent dehydration
- Wheatgrass – Too many great benefits to write – Google it. It’s considered “a superfood” and green gold
- Apple – An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Period. The End.
- Ginger – Reduces inflammation. Reduces inflammation. Reduces inflammation.
- Lemon – Promotes hydration, digestion, weight loss. It’s a natural cleanser for your inner pipes.
- Carrots – They are nature’s honey in a juice! Plus vitamin A
